Lou, Thank you. I need to feel better. This is the 4th day of this and I’m tired of it. I like how you spent yesterday and that you're getting out today. And your plans for Saturday sound wonderful. Fresh air, friends, food, music. Look at you back to being Mr Social. Happy you’re doing so much better.
Looks like it’s sunny here too and warm like yesterday. I hope to get outside and feel the sun. Enjoy your day visiting your friends, they’ll be happy to see you I’m sure.

Hey, George! I missed you yesterday, and
    Gary. Chad usually writes around
midnight & I'm so glad he stayed with us
as a member of the brotherhood. I get a
kick out of you calling our friend, " The
Deb" , & I think she does, too. After
doing nothing yesterday, after a tiring
week of rushing around to be home
for the VNA nurse & PTs, I just wanted to
rest, & stare out the window at the rain.
So glad it wasn't snow! It's sunny, with
blue skies, high 40s, today, so I'm going
to walk down the Neck, past the ocean,
& see my friends who own shops there.
Haven't gone down there since I got
sick Christmas night, so I hope they'll be
glad to see me. Tomorrow, I plan to walk
in the opposite direction to a cafe, which
features live music in the backroom on
Sat, at lunchtime. I've become friends with
the drummer, a married guy my age. We
talk about everything when it's not
busy. He surprised me by joining other
musicians one day, playing his harp &
    singing the blues. Lou

Thank you, Robin! I chuckled when you
called me Mr. Social. I love the Neck, by the
ocean. It starts to come alive in the
Spring and goes into full swing, in the
Summer, my favorite season here. We
have very few hot & humid days, bc of
the ocean breeze. How is the summer
where you live? I recall that you enjoyed
    going to the beach. Lou

Lou, Glad I could make you chuckle. Your spring and summer sound lovely. It’s very humid here during the summer, spring is simply beautiful.i don’t like the humidity but I do still enjoy the summer. My daughter had a beach pass to take her Jeep right on the beach so she could get me on the ocean without having to walk on through the sand. It’s very hard on my joints. But her Jeep died last year so we didn’t go driving on the beach. but we enjoyed the bands they had playing during the summer and had nice dinners on the deck over looking the ocean. This year she has a different Jeep and we plan to get back out there and enjoy many days right on the water. Previously we went in the winter too and just stayed in her car, and enjoyed the rolling ocean, I’m hoping to get out there soon. She has t bought the pass yet. But soon.
Hope you’re having a good day. Robin

Robin, glad you have bands. We have
a bandstand & different bands play at
night. We bring chairs, & watch the
sunset over the ocean, across the
street. I'm walking the Neck. It was good
to be missed! Grateful to feel alive----& to
    BE alive! Lou

ANYTIME you post is great, Chad. I took
a lot of naps when I was sick, so I would
sometimes see you or Karen and
    Bernadine, from the Northwest. Lou

I KNEW you'd like that, George! Hope
Bernadine sees this, bc her husband,
Kenn, was a musician who sometimes
    played the blues. Lou

Greetings fellow warriors. I had to take some time off because of ice fishing burnout and fatigue. I wish I could do things in moderation. Deb thanks for smashing one out of the park when bases were loaded in regards to your last succession of motivational posts. Karen Your’s was only a few lines but it very inspiring too. I’ve got 4 days off from fishing do to extreme weather. Trapped at home inside my head isn’t what I’m feeling today. When I got a haircut this week the person looking back at me didn’t look as depressed as normal. I cleaned out the area where Cheryl refurbished her pieces before taking them to the mall. I wrote 2 more letters. One was “I want to share with you where I am holding grief in my body”. And “I need you to know what I fear about my future without you”. The last letter was the hardest. Now I’m coming to the phase of the book where Cheryl writes back to me. Invisible Ink. I always have a nice meal and get relaxed before hand with a picture of Cheryl with me. There’s always apprehension beforehand but the feeling of nearness to Cheryl always comes afterwards. I was fishing at the sacred place Wednesday and caught the biggest walleye of my life. I figure Cheryl had something to do with it since I got the biggest deer this year too. Instead of worrying how I’m going to die I think Cheryl may play a role with that too. If so I shouldn’t have nothing to fear. Patti I hope you’re feeling better. I’m sending you a big loving hug. Robin I’m glad you kicked the flu to the curb. Mr. Social(Lou) I’m very glad you’re making a comeback. Gary A1943F5A-D95D-49D6-9090-CD7347BFD603.jpeg

Great to see you on here again, Gary. I
continue to admire your tributes &
letters to Cheryl. Glad you went out
for a haircut. Even a few pleasantries
is better than being stuck inside your
head. Felt like my old self today. Walked
down the Neck. My friends who own
shops there, were happy to see me. It
was good to be missed. I did like it
when Robin called me Mr. Social, bc
I've been an "old man", cooped up at
home with sickness & then ,the
snowstorm. It's good to be "among the
living" again. I just greeted T.K., from
Missouri. He's about my age, & I told
him I hope he joins our brotherhood.
Perhaps you can greet him, as well. Lou
