So beautiful Ceee, and such a mind-soother just spending time admiring your drawing. The colours and the details are wonderful, great talent, thank you.

Rose thank you for the compliment. These are real flowering trees in the yard across the street. I am honored that I can enjoy the beauty of them without the work. :)

    Greetings dear GIC friends:

Here are two fotos of my azaleas taken on May 2023 and May 2024. As I have taken care of my garden, I noticed every thing is greener and looks better, perhaps is my frame of mind?

How lovely they are Helena, it looks like you're taking care of your azaleas very well. These last 3 and a half years without my C I'm finding that being around nature and watching flowers and plants prosper are real mind-soothers.
    Sending you a hug.

2024 sunset.jpg Hello, one of the joys of living in the country are the beautiful and peaceful sunsets. I love sitting and watching the sun go down but it feels so lonely with out my special love to keep me company. Now he keeps in company in my thoughts and dreams.
Hugs to all other sunset/sunrise watchers.

Helena you are such an inspirational artist Some how your picture brought back happy memories of picking and eating ripe tomatoes in the garden. Those were happy peaceful times. The kind we keep trying to find again. HUGS

Helena -Your winter piece from 2023 is just what i needed on this 100+ day. Yes there is air conditioning but that keeps us locked indoors in small spaces. I remember talk about using a camera and focusing on the beauty around us in the outdoors. A rainbow or a tiny colorful bug on a green leaf. I think that will be my goal for this month.
HUGS and positive thoughts are being sent your way. I hope you are having peaceful days.

There is beauty in changing of the seasons; each brings its own beauty. As seasons change so do we. We have the choice of being stuck and hanging on to the what was or moving on to what will be.
Fall may look like there is death as the trees loose their leaves and other plants disappear. Yet if we have faith we know it is a time to relax and renew and prepare for a glorious awakening.
It is a time for reflection. A time to remember loved ones no longer with us and know like the plants they are going through a change and there will be renewal for them. It is a time to look forward to the time we will also change and be renewed in another way. It is a time to see the beauty in what was and know that beauty will always be a part of us just as our loved ones will always be a part of us. We need to remind ourselves that it is ok to remember the what was and begin to prepare for the new season of life ahead. Tree - fall.jpg

    Ceee,

I feel that The Divine put your lovely message and exquisite photograph in my Inbox this am.

I say this, because just this morning, while visiting my family in Northern California, I remarked to my son on the incredible beauty of the gingko trees which were resplendent in gold finery before they will soon drop all their leaves at once.

What a treasure you are --- and all of your kindred souls on GIC, like Rose and Helena -- who express gratitude for the beauty of nature and share it with the rest of us.
