Greetings Bro Geo. Bernadine says we are strong enough to feel the pain of loss so we are strong enough to survive the bomb cyclone. Walked the labyrinth today. I’ll be thinking about you me Bro and your surgery recovery. Bring on more minutes of daylight! Gary

Gary, I think it's great that you went on your labyrinth walk. Impressive photo! I would have loved to do a nature 'mind-soothing /meditation walk' outside in our yard last night, but our time zone here meant that our solstice peak was at 10.48pm, too late and too cold for me, and on top of that it was cloudy, no stars to gaze at or talk to.
Looking forward to our longer, lighter days.

I hear you George. The bomb cyclone with its strong low pressure system makes our pain index go up. It will get better George. Listen to some of your favorites songs and eat your favorite foods. We are warriors me Bro. I love you man! Gary

Bro Geo, I'm a little slower than my 2
younger brothers, so I didn't read about
your pain from dialysis. I'm so sorry. I
    know it's especially hurtful psychologically,
as well, during this time of Christmas
cheer without the physical presence of
our soulmates . We are here for you.

Helena, that's beautiful. I'm relieved to
see you on here again, bc I was worried
when you disappeared for a while. I hope
you get a chance to welcome Janiceanne,
a new member from your state. Patti hasn't
been on GIC lately , but Deb, another
    South Carolina resident, greeted
    Janiceanne. Thank you. Lou

Thank you Lou for your concern! I'm feeling a little more positive BUT at the moment I'm going with a lot of changes and need to take care of myself in order to be able to help or even welcome another.... I need more time to be me as strong as I was!

This perfectly depicts the loss we feel after experiencing the exquisite, unique beauty of love. Thank you for sharing this! Life seems to be about seizing the moment and finding love in every moment and in every situation. That’s all there is: love.

So sorry to hear about your arm hurting you so much, George. I hope the pain is a little bit less today, heading towards a complete recovery soon. Wishing you all the very best for your health.

Robin, thought of you this morning. Sadly,
the weather is not serene right now. We
have howling winds & rain. There is
some concern of power outages, and I
know you've been hit hard with those.
Then, Sat & Sun temps will plunge into
the 20s. I have a much more positive
attitude about it, than I have had in the
past. As I told Janiceanne and others,I
came down with a cold. But, this is a
far cry from the COVID I had a year ago.
It's true that I'll miss the usual Friday
night live music at the cafe, but I have no
desire to go outside right now. A friend
sent me a book. Like Deb, I hadn't read
any books unrelated to grief. Now, I
will emulate her, and try. Good luck
    with the weather, Robin. Lou
