I like your flowing dynamics of line and graceful curves. Helped me smile a bit!
I have had trouble with too big files too. I try to reSize so it's not as big. Sometimes that works even! LoL

Hi, I'm not sure if I sent the photo correctly, not very good with all these modern technical devices.
This is a rare cactus flower: 'echinopsis tubiflora'. Comes out once a year in June, It lasts only about twelve hours, comes out early evening and the morning after it withers. The strange thing is we've had this plant for over 10 years and the first time these flowers appeared was last Summer, six months after I lost my beloved C.
It's probably just a coincidence but I like to think it's a tribute to him, or maybe it's him saying "Hi, I'm still here, you know".
Better stop before I get too emotional. Sweet dreams to you all.
    Rose.

Rose that cactus is beautiful!! I love the color, your C had green fingers (that expression is from England) I lived in Essex and worked in London in the late seventies, I commuted by train, I got tired, traveling every day morning and evening coming home and cook dinner. Geoff was working locally, he drove the nice English country roads. I remember in Spring we grew tomatoes outside the window covered like a mini greenhouse and we were successful, those tomatoes tasted so delicious, just writing came the flavor to my mind. Thanks so much for sharing with us, I know the British are more reserved, I'm glad that you continue here with us. Today its five months since Geoff left this Universe, so many memories, that it's the best and beautiful thing that no body will take from me, he is not physically with me...Geoff is with me in my mind, lots of memories, what a wonderful thing our minds we are here in this beautiful world wherever your your C is he is with you, in your garden in nature when you play the piano and all the beautifull memories, no body takes from you! It's good to talk, I always feel much better talking. Geoff will always be in my heart and in my mind, if I get emotional it's OK no body judge us, we all are TGW.
Thank you for listening and take good care of yourself. Helena

Hello, Helena, thank you for your kind words. My heart goes out to you, it is still so soon for you and I admire the fact that you have been so courageous as to join this site and already become such a valuable member, and so inspiring to us. You have a great talent for Art and yes I can also now see your dog upright in your drawing, how beautiful.

You are so right about our cherished
soulmates being always with us in
our memories, our minds, this is a wonderful gift that we have all been given from life, such a big comfort, a bit like hanging on to a part of them that, like you say, will never ever be taken from us. I manage to survive by going about my daily errands, 'feeling' my C near me, encouraging me and giving me strength.
I understand how stressful it was being a commuter when you lived in Essex. Even though I lived in North London, it still took me almost an hour to get to my office job in Central London, using the dreadful "London tube and bus network". I am British 'born and bred' but my parents are both Italian having emigrated to the UK in early sixties, and now I've spent more years of my life over here. Never had any regrets, also because I met my beautiful C here and our kids born and grown up here.
I've planted some tomatoes recently, that's the most I can do now on my own, my C and I used to plant lots of
different types of veggies every Spring, he did most of the work though, 'green fingers' as you rightly say. He did everything himself, not just the work on our land, also in our home, fixed everything, solved all problematic situations. It's so heartbreaking now having to call others to get certain mechanical jobs done, things I couldn't possibly do myself.

Sending you a big hug, and hoping you soon find peace and comfort, your Geoff will always be there for you.
    Rose.
