Karen, today's Center for Loss quote
reminded me so much of you. & your
contribution of the often quoted Mr.
Grief. Losing our soulmates DOES take away part of ourselves, but I know our
soulmates wanted us to take care of the
    other part. Lou

No you don't whine too much. You just write what I can't bring myself to say. Also Microsoft Edge has taken over my computer and it's a battle to do much on line so I just stay offline mostly. But looking at your list, I just go yep, yep, yep. Did get a dog, a 4 month old rescue Pom. Named her Honey. Since I always say "I'm home Honey" when I get back in the house, it just seemed fitting to name her that. Kinda of a double meaning. She keeps me busier than I was and it helps the lonesome's some. Hang in there, wishing you the best. Rick

I agree. You sound better after the very
sad weekend. I felt happy this am. I
listened to music on my phone & walked
to a friendly breakfast place. On way,
Mr. Grief attacked me, & snarled," What
are you so happy about, asshole? Your
poor wife is dead!!". I told him to f----
off & kept going . Lou

Kenn loved numbers, days like today he would have honored as particularly auspicious. A time to be aware of something bigger than ourselves. The divine draws near.
Light a candle and some incense, stand barefoot on the earth, say a prayer, talk to the trees, listen to the wind.
You’ll know where to find me. (as soon as it gets above freezing ;-) ) ~B

Thanks, Bernadine! You're the first to
respond. I think I will be getting an
AMEN from TGW today! Hope to hear
    from Karen, the mastermind behind

Hope to hear from Karen, who coined

Hi B, I know you are an avid gardener as my husband was. Everything was planted out in the garden now I'm just doing pots on the deck. I have a question for you. Last summer was the hottest in the late 90's and 100. I planted tomato plants in large pots and they suffered with the sun and heat. I even put the umbrella over them but they still never produced property. I fertilized and watered well. I'm thinking of a plant sun screen over them? Shall I pull the pots under the lattice or any suggestions? I thought I'd pick your brain and gardening seems to keep Mr. Grief at bay. Thanks for reading, K

Lou, I just found this post and I'm laughing at your comment about Mr. Grief. I'm trying to catch up on new posts, I'm behind.
You know how we all age, WELL, I'm waiting for Mr. Grief to get so old he will fizzle out.
