    George,

I don't know how this happened, I'll blame it me being so technically challenged, but in order to read my reply, you have to click on your message first.

Got to take my angel/devil dog out for her before bedtime walk.

Sending you lots more hugs and love, wishing you peace, all of us peace. DEB and Skyester (variety is the spice of life!!!)

Debster, just woke up from a very sad
dream, crying . I thought Linda was still alive and that I was going to visit her in
her room in the rehab unit of the nursing
home. I think this was all triggered by a
worrisome office visit with my doctor,
the same doctor who Linda & I went to
see together. Your long post , "book",
filled with your trademark TUTTAM and
F*CK,IS there, but in small print, which
has happened to me in the past, for some
reason. So glad we can read your kind
words to George. Now I can go back to
    sleep....Louster

    Louster,

Sending you the BIGGEST!!! virtual hug, all the way from TUTTAMVILLE. Getting worrisome news at a doctor's appointment, then waking up from a dream after thinking Linda is alive, SUCKS!!! It is the absolute worst way to have to begin another day in Grief Land, TUTTAM!!!

I'm so sorry you didn't get the good news you were hoping for at your recent doctor's appointment. Although this can be very difficult to do, try not to dwell on it. Worrying, like guilt, is another one of those useless emotions. Both can suck the life right out of us, if we let them. Continue to do the things you enjoy the most, enjoying good food and conversation, listening to music, and if Mother Nature isn't being too much of a pita, getting lots of fresh air and sunshine, walking along the ocean, etc, etc, etc...

Once you have definite answers concerning your health, I'm thinking you'll feel much better. I'm confident if the news isn't what you're hoping for, you will tackle this most recent obstacle, with strength and determination, (after all, you ARE!!! the godfather of TGW!!!), the way you have with every single F*CKING!!! miserable obstacle that you've had to deal with, prior to finding your forever home, in what you know, I think is one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Sending you lots of hugs and love, wishing you peace, all of us peace. Debster & Skyester

As always, sending you lots of hugs and love, wishing you peace, all of us peace. Debster and Skyester, all the way from our corner of not always so Skyrific, TUTTAMVILLE

Thank you, Debster. You almost made me
cry when you said I've overcome so many
obstacles in life, before the absolute
horrific one of seeing my sweet, loving
Linda collapse, then die soon after. If I
don't make it, my spirit will be reunited
with Linda's sooner than anticipated. If
a doctor estimates how much time I have
left, I will announce it to the group, bc I
AM The Godfather, after all. My choice
would be to die peacefully in bed, or
maybe dying, while having fun, like
Don Corleone did while playing with his
    grandchildren. This is getting morbid,
so I'll stop before I depress everyone
    here, and myself. Louster

La Rose, thank you so much for your kind
response. I saw it in the middle of the night, but was too sleepy to answer, so I
just put a "LIKE" . When I got the news from the doctor, I immediately went to the
dark side. I was being overdramatic, hinting to my fellow Grief Warriors that ,
as Sinatra sings in My Way, " the end is
near...". But, a kind friend pointed out that
with exercise ( brisk walking with Linda's
cane) and healthy food, with low sodium,
I can get through this. I just have to stop
worrying, see a specialist , and take the
tests. I've had other health scares, and
shared them with this group, but I don't
want to go into detail this time, even
though my friend, Karen ( Ms.Hum) will
probably be curious to know! Lousterino

    Thanks for new nickname, "LouBster",
with your trademark mix of capital
letters. You always crack me up, as you
    do "Debness", originally Debster, The
Deb, and other names. Robin, who I now
    call "Summer",after our favorite season,
and Karen, who I named, "Ms. Hum" , also
love your nicknames. We are inspired by
your creativity, and not only in your art
    displays. Lonesome Don Van Lou

Don Lou, Frank Sinatra's "My Way" is one of the songs I was singing and playing on our electronic piano this afternoon, when I retreated to our music/comfort room for a much needed grief outlet. I only play it in a very simple way though, (being a beginner), just using arpeggios, nothing too difficult. Like the song says, I play it My Way.

Rose, you and I have a connection, in our
love for music. I can picture you, C.,
Linda , and I,listening to a live band,
with a vocalist singing that song , and
others. I also picture Bernadine, with her
husband, Kenn, who was a musician, and
we could all get together. Linda and I had
a CD, by Sinatra, entitled Cycles. Cycles is
one of the songs, a sad, slow, lonely
ballad. I couldn't listen to this song, and
other songs on that CD , after Linda died,
without sobbing. Now, I can. I can feel the
loneliness in Sinatra's voice and can
identify with it. A Man Alone
    ( another song by Sinatra).....

BroGeo, that's funny & sad at the same
time. Wish you could go with my pals
to a bar to go dancing, like we did last
night. I put Linda's cane down, got lost
in the music, wasn't self conscious about
dancing fast, ( but didn't close my eyes,
bc I could've lost my balance and fallen
down). I even asked a friend, a widow,
to do a slow dance-- it felt good, but
bittersweet, bc it wasn't Linda. But, I
know Linda said she wanted me to enjoy
life, after she was gone. Lou

Louster, yes curious, but I'll let you off the hook on this one. I think your friend is correct, you can get through this. Restaurant foods are full of sodium. Some restaurants have a print out of ingredients and calories, sodium, sugar and fats for people who are watching their sodium intake and weight control. Amy's foods are full of sodium most canned and frozen foods are too. You can do it. Nurse Hum. You can.
I use pepper instead of salt on my chicken, fish and meats. It really helps the taste.

Love pepper. Good idea. Thanks, Ms. H!!
    Amy's Mexican enchillada gluten free
frozen dinners are lower in sodium than
    the canned soups. Louster
