Thank you, BroGeo, Lombardo Da Vinci.
Woke up depressed, crying over Linda.
Looking out my window at a gray, cold
day, and felt more depressed. I felt
better seeing your fun nickname talk with
Ms. Hum ( my name for her!), your art,
and Robin's positive reaction to it. Thanks
for the LMSO ( as BroGar calls it), with my
brand new nickname, Loubster. Sorry to
hear you have snow. You always get it
    worse than any of us.....

Humalina sounds like a food, like
Farina. So, I think I'll stick with my name
    for Karen--- Ms. Hum. Loubster

At least not a massive storm but I don't want to drive in it I think. TB might have other ideas though!

Lombardo, I probably shouldn't butt in
( like I did , with new member"Poopie"),but I think you need to tell TB to
chillax ( a word I learned from Linda). From
    Dear Abby Louster.....

Robin, it's easier for me to when my daughter gets me out. She lives across the street and is a Big help.

Deborah I agree with my brother Lou in regards to changing your nickname. Let’s start with the letter C for the confidence you have to continue your journey in education. Then we will borrow two Os from your previous nickname. And call you Ms. Coo. You are a bird lover and the dove is sacred to the grief warriors. Can I get the approval from BroGeo the master of nicknames and The Godfather to give Deborah the nickname of Ms Coo? If my nickname is approved we insist you do more cooing;) Garbear

Ms. Hum, since Robin loves the beach,
we could call her "Summer". Summer
makes me smile, bc it's my favorite
season, both for its' warmth and for
seeing more people, than I do in the
    winter. Lobster Lousterino

Garbear, I love your choice of Ms. Coo.
It's more fun than my suggestion of
Teacher. Now, it's up to Deb, from
Minn, ( not DEB,from South Carolina). Lou

Ugh! I hate snow. The worst part of winter, especially because the snow plough never reaches our area. We just get "snowed in". We had our first snow yesterday, luckily it wasn't that much, then the sun came out and by lunchtime it had all melted. Thank God! I hope it doesn't get too bad for you George.

Don Lou, 'farina' is the Italian word for 'flour'. Does it also refer to some other type of food? I'd be curious to know.

Robin and Karen, I am with you totally. I'd never leave the house if I could. I go into town once or twice a week for shopping and other errands and I'm always in a rush, hurrying, can't wait to get back home. Even now that I can't go on my therapeutical nature walks around our property, because of this nasty, rainy, snowy, freezing weather we're going through, I prefer staying in my safe nest.

Rose, Farina Mills Hot Wheat Cereal is
similar to oatmeal. I ate it as a boy, but
can't eat it now, bc it contains wheat, and
is therefore not gluten free. Anything
with wheat is bad for my Celiac Disease.
I don't feel deprived, bc there are many
gluten free products, including bread, in
restaurants and supermarkets. I found out
I had Celiac 8 yrs ago, and was relieved
it wasn't lymphoma. My doctor was
concerned , but after many blood tests,
    discovered what I have . I know that's a
long answer to your question, but maybe
I've helped someone else here. Lou

I get it George, the uncertainty you’re feeling. For all you’re going through I don’t think it’s irrational. Sadly it’s how things feel right now. You’re brightening peoples days. That’s a plus. The fact that I don’t have to go out makes it extra hard. I’m not usually like this. But this winter I’ll put off going out for days. I know I need the fresh air. And once I finally get out, I do feel stronger. Really can’t wait for warmer weather. But we’ll all get through this. When you can keep up with your art. Actually cooked a pot roast today. It’s been a while since I cooked. It’s a favorite of Rons.
