Loss of son

I lost my 26 yr old son 3 weeks tomorrow from car accident. Don't know how to go on without him. I miss him so much. I cry all the time

 

I lost my 29 year old son on June 10 due to a car accident! I know what you mean, I am always crying! The slightest thought of him, a memory, a picture, a song... I miss him so much!! This hurts too much!

I don't know how to go on without him. The pain and emptiness is unbearable. My heart has been ripped out.

 

I am so sorry for the loss of your son! What was his name? I haven’t had a tear free day since June 10! It still feels like a horrible nightmare I can’t wake up from!!

 

I am sorry for the loss of your son also. His name is luke. Everday feels like it just happened. Lost him on May 19. What was your sons name?

 

His name is Matthew. It’s been 8 1/2 weeks and I know how you feel, like it just happened! I miss his face, his voice, his smile, his laugh and his fantastic sense of humor!!

 

I have been keeping his phone active just so I can hear his voice on the voicemail. I call it all the time. I miss him so much and at times it feels unbearable.

 

My son called me every day at 630pm, so I set an alarm on my phone to call me with his name and a broken heart! Have you read any books to help you? I find it helps some.

 

Wouldn't know what to read

 

I read this book called “ a butterflies journey”, a true story about a mother’s son 21 who was killed in a motorcycle accident, and the thoughts, feelings and how she coped, like a journal. So many similarities to what I went thruand AM still going thru! I thought I was going crazy, sometimes still do, but reading and talking about this to anyone helps so much! Now I’m reading “love beyond life” and 2 more books on the way!

 

I'll have to try it. The reading. I do agree that talking helps. It helps to know that there are people out there that understand what it feels like. What you're going through. Yesterday was hard cause the first pre season football game was always Luke's day. Tried to make it happy in memory of him but ended up crying anyways

 

I’ve been listening to HIS kind of music and it makes me very emotional! Have you noticed more butterflies, dragonflies around? I do, I’m told and feel like they are him, watching over! I have to believe it!!

 

I have found more pennies. Been told they are from him. That they are pennies from heaven. I have to believe that

 

I lost my son this past May. He had liver failure due to alcohol. I feel so guilty because I allowed hospice take him back to the hospital. Two days later he was gone. They drugged him up so bad I never got to speak to him again. He has a 9 year old daughter that he adored. She didn’t get to say goodbye either.

 

Sorry to hear of your loss. I lost my son may 19 this year due to a car accident. I wish I had a grandchild of his but I guess I never will. Or see him get married. He was 26. I miss talking to him. Seeing his smile and laugh. Just miss everything about him.

 

I am sorry for your loss. I too lost my 36 y/o Son. His story is long. Battled diabetes for 22 years, kidneys failed, dialysis began and in 2017 he had a kidney/pancreas transplant. For the first time in 22 years he was no longer a diabetic. The kidney rejected in Oct. 2017 so he had to go back on dialysis. My husband and I were his caregivers for almost 4 yrs. Needless to say in Feb. of this year I went to wake him for his dialysis treatment and found him unconscious and seizing. He wound up in hospital for almost 3 weeks before we had to call hospice in. He could not speak, barely opened his eyes was on a vent until the last week. We brought him home 2/20/18 and 14 hours later he had passed away in my arms.

 

It is ok to cry!!!!! I am one year out and things trigger me and I feel like it is week one. You will get through this in your own time, and your own way. There is no timetable, let your body do what it feels like doing. Do not forget to eat and drink,
