Helena, so sorry to hear about your PITA
weather ( pain in the ass--Deb taught me
"PITA). I wish S.C. and Ma. would have
the same good weather at the same time!
It's a perfect, picture perfect, sunny,
cloudless blue sky, high 50s day. It's a
Ma. holiday, Patriot's Day. It's school
vacation this week, so the Neck, with
    shops, art galleries,& restaurants are
busy with tourist families, as well as
locals, like me. I feel energized, a far cry
from yesterday. Hope your day gets better.

"One day you will wake up and there won't be any more time to do the things you've always wanted do it now".
"The simple things are also the most extraordinary things, and only the wIse can see them".
"Life has a way of testing a person's will. Either by having nothing every thing happen at once".

"Happiness is not a priority for me I prefer the dangers of being madly in love".
"Courage in the path is what makes the path manifest itself".
"Don't waste your time with explanations: people only hear what they want to hear".
"Remember that wherever your heart is there you will find your treasure.

"Joy is sometimes a blessing, but it is often a conquest. Our magic moment help us to change and sends us off in search of our dreams. Yes, we are going to suffer, we will have difficult times, and we will experience many disappointments - but all of this is transitory it leaves no permanent mark. An one day we will look back with pride and faith at the journey we have taken".

I was enjoying reading everyone’s posts last night when a pleasant memory of Cheryl popped into my head. I turned on the radio and Madonna was singing like prayer I’ll take you there. It was a good feeling. This was a priceless commodity. Today I was rooting around in the cupboard and found 2 corning ware dishes Cheryl would make chocolate pudding for us. I felt like I was being pulled back into Mr Grief’s Twisted Amusement Park. Inside I noticed a circus tent. When I looked inside there were a bunch of Cyber terrorists disguised as clowns. The terroists were trying to hack into the minds of grieving people and implant them with spyware and malware. The clowns were frustrated because of a mental security program known as TGW had blocked their attacks. While the clowns were getting reprimanded by Mr Grief I was able to escape. See what happens when I get bored. Gary

    Helena,

Karen suggested something similar to this before you arrived, but it seemed to fizzle out. Not enough of us could think of anything funny to share. Maybe we should try this again... Another one of those TBC's...

As always, sending you hugs and love, wishing you peace, all of us peace. DEB

I'm sorry you were pulled back, but you were saved by the security program, TGW. I'm still laughing, sorry, but it was funny to me, but sad for you. I like your boring imagination. karen

Gary, woke up earlier, unexpectedly, with
a headache, partly due to wild dreams, and
partly due to a change of atmosphere
    outside my window----howling,ferocious
winds & rain and the sound of an angry
ocean nearby. But, your science fiction
    fantasy surpassed any imaginative dream
I could have. As I've said before, Gary,
Rod Serling would be there, off to the
    side, narrating your story. Lou

Karen, woke up earlier than usual this am,
as I told Gary ,and read his science fiction
story. He "unlocked" his "imagination" as
Rod Serling used to say at the beginning of
every episode of The Twilight Zone. TGW
must give you credit , as Helena did, for
coming up with a new thread of Grief and
Laughter. It "fizzled" bc you caught us by
surprise on a sad day of grieving. All of
TGW have a great sense of humor, dark
humor sometimes, but we weren't ready
that day. I feel guilty that I've been
proofreading my posts, & haven't provided
you with my infamous blooper typos, like
my classic "thongs", instead of things. Lou

Karen, I was wrong. It was Deb who gave
you credit for your Grief and Laughter
    thread. Lou

Lou, That was brutal weather we had wasn’t it? I was sick with a headache all day yesterday waiting for the storm to come through. Couldn’t sleep with the wind whipping around and the rain pelting the house. Sorry about your wild dreams and headache. I hope you’re feeling better. My head still hurts but not as bad. Dry dark snd gloomy today, kind of matches my mood. I’ll be staying in. Robin

Wishing everyone well, I’ve been off a while and I’m behind on posts. Trying to catch up. I know Easter was difficult for most. I had my daughter and her puppy, my brother his girlfriend and her son for a quiet Easter dinner. It went well with some tears. But the best part was the egg hunt we had for Teddy and Slinky. They were so happy and brought smiles to our faces. Robin

So sorry, Robin. You always seem to get it
worse. The rain moved on, and it's just
cloudy. Meeting a friend, my age, who's
retired but plays drums at the local cafe.
He's introduced me to other musicians,
& it's my favorite place bc of the live
music. Hope your weather, and your
    head, clears up soon. Lou
