I lost my father more than 10 years ago and my mother about a year ago and my husband about a month ago. The grief I am feeling about the loss of my husband is unbearable and suddenly I really want my "mommy" even though I am 65. But, they are all gone and there is nothing I can do about it. How can one deal with such grief?
I feel your pain. I lost my Dad 7 yrs ago, Fiance 5 yrs ago, Mom last year and Sister this past July. And I regret that I never once seeked help or anything until now and I regret that tremendously because I have become an empty shell of myself. There is an extreme emptiness that I feel everyday. And in between those I mentioned, I've also lost about 4 others that were almost just as close to my heart. So if you'd like someone to chat with, feel free.
