In December 2003, just three days shy of Christmas, I faced an unimaginable tragedy when my 13-year-old daughter succumbed to Dilated cardiomyopathy, also known as enlarged heart. Two months later, in February 2004, my eldest son, then 15 years old, received the same devastating diagnosis. In May 2004, my son underwent a heart transplant. Sadly, in July 2009, my son, who had reached the age of 20, passed away due to his body rejecting the heart. Now, in July 2026, my eldest daughter, who was 39 years old at the time of her passing, is thought to have suffered a seizure. Over a span of 23 years, I have endured the unbearable loss of three children. Finding the strength to cope with such profound grief is an almost insurmountable challenge.

I am so very sorry for your tragic losses. I can't imagine how difficult this is. I have a friend who has lost two chidren and she just texted me that she is having a problem with depression. She related how much more difficult it is to lose a second child.
You are right. Your losses are almost unbearable. I don't see how you will be able to endure this without God's help. When we lost our 28 year old son as a result of suicide, I had to completely depend on God's strength. I knew He would help me because I knew how wonderful His character was and the scripture tell us to cast our care upon Him because He cares for us, so I just kept looking to Him for help. He carried me for a long time before I was able to begin to function again. I still depend on His love and strength to help me through life's difficulties and He never disappoints me. He is always there to comfort, strengthen, and heal.
We are here to support you in any way you need. Feel free to share your feelings as you feel led because I have found talking things through helped me to sort things out in my mind. They didn't have to have an answer because I found as I talked things through God would give me the answers I needed.
Again, I am so very sorry for all the losses you have been through. So many tragedies. I care about you.
Please stay in touch here with us because we understand the depth and heaviness of grief.
    Love,
    Christine

Thank you for what you said. It truly is heartbreaking, but God has his reasons for everything. I did have a mental breakdown finally, and I ended app in the mental hospital for 8 days, but because of that, I have found God again and I am working on myself now as well as my marriage. I'm definitely working with God too. I wanted to thank you again

I am so very happy to hear that things are beginning to go in a better direction for you. This is the best news I could have heard today! I believe things will continue to improve for you each day. When we try to solve our problems ourselves, it seems it never turns out well. We need God's wisdom to see the overall picture He sees. He has a plan worked out for our best, if we will let Him work. The Lord Jesus Christ loves us-loved us enough to come and sacrifice all for us. There is a song that says: "Jesus paid it ALL, All to Him I owe. Sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow!" I am like you. When I was sinking, Jesus rescued me and put my feet on a solid rock. I trust Him completely.
Another song just came to my mind that says exactly where I was and how Jesus rescued me: "I was sinking deep in sin, far from the peaceful shore. Very deeply stained within, Sinking to rise no more. Then the Master of the sea, heard my despairing cry, From the waters lifted me, now safe am I. Love lifted me. Love lifted me. When nothing else could help. Love lifted me."
I appreciate your wonderful testimony and am grateful you took the time to share it with me.
I wish you God's strength, grace, comfort, and wisdom to continue to overshadow you and protect you.
    Love,
    Christine
