i lost my friend ashton a year n a few months ago. i miss him a lot i met him in the 4th grade. he was really stupid. i had a stuffed bear that i named button back then. i remember i would dress it up. he noticed when he'd moved to our school. brought me a shirt from his jeffy puppet. i declined it because it smelt weird. ashton was really funny. had a wide sense of humor. he had dimples, and really brown eyes. ashton and i grew distant but i still considered him my friend. i cant believe hes gone forever now and i feel stupid for greiving this hard over him since im so young but i really miss him
Grief knows no age. Your bond is eternal. I am so sorry for your pain dear friend. It doesn’t matter how much time passes, the love still remains. Your grief shows how much you truly loved your dear friend. May Ashton be free. May Ashton be at peace .
I am very sorry for your loss. It is admirable that you liked him so much. Grief is a sign of love for someone besides ourselves. It doesn't matter your age. Do you have another friend or family member that you can talk to who can support you?
I am sorry for your loss. The grief you are feeling is only natural because you cared about him. I see this was a suicide. We lost our son to suicide and this kind of death is always devastating. It is such a shock to learn of a suicide of someone we care about. It will take time to reconcile this in your mind. I hope you have another friend you can talk to, but if not, we are here for you. It is always helpful to express your feelings because as you talk it helps your mind to make some sense of what has happened. God can be your best friend. He cares and will listen no matter how silly or wrong our feelings seem to us. Jesus understands because when he lost a friend who was dear to him, Lazarus, the bible tells us Jesus cried. Jesus knows all about pain and He can comfort you and be your friend if you will let Him. Turn to God for strength and comfort and He will help you. We love you and care about how you are. Christine
