I'm trying to do the same Mary, I lost my best friend, soulmate and wife of 25 years, after a 8 year battle with breast cancer, then bone cancer, then finally liver cancer which took her life 10 weeks ago. we fought this together, and were lucky to already be retired and have great medical insurance. Yet, here I am, able to do everything as to keeping up the house, yard, cars, my health, etc. Yet, I'm empty. The only good feeling for me is when I attend my grief groups each week, and try to help others. It actually helps me inside and out, to take away a bit of the pain. Time is helping a little, as I'm no where nearly as broken as I was the night and following week after she died. And thank the Lord, she died not in misery, but peaceful, and not on much medication at all, she was a 1 - 2 pain level, and only on hospice at home for 3 days. I pray for you to have peace in your journey with grief.....Paul

Yes, Paul. Our situation seems similar. Today is the third anniversary of my husband‘s death. We were together 32 years. I survived by dealing with the rational. I use Albert Ellis’s rational emotive behavior therapy. Sorry, I know who is coming today you shout to me leggings and a cropped long sleeve that’s OK jeans leggings this just needs ice. Had a hard time eating. How are you? Had a good day. That’s good. I’m so glad.
