Hello everyone. I lost my son February 7 after a long heart surgery. He told his father prior to surgery that he was gonna die tomorrow, and he did.

I am so sorry for the loss of your son. What is his name and how old was he?
It is okay to talk about him and your feelings here. After awhile others around us do not want us to talk about our child and they just want us to move on. I understand why they don't understand-because they have never lost anyone this dear to them
We understand the heaviness and pain you are going through, because we have also experienced or are experiencing the same feelings and weight.
I have written to others about how heavy this weight is, but as I wrote it to you a scripture came to me that says:
"Hebrews 12:1 says, “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.”
I don't know if this has any special meaning to you, but when God gave it to me for you, I wanted to relay it on.
We do have a great could of witnesses that compass us about that tell us God is real and He can be counted on to comfort us and strenthen us through these horribly difficult times.
Keep in touch with us here for support because we care about what you are going through.
