    Brother George, sorry I'm so
    late in joining your "talk"with
    Robin and Rose. Hope your
Mon is better than your Sun
was. If I'm not careful, the reverse could be true for me.
    There was a picture perfect
    80 degree day, with brilliant
    sunshine &blue sky. You are
right , George, that I keep dancing. but you can't. Yesterday,
a band played outside & we
danced in front of it, which
pleased the musicians, as well as
    us. Little children danced
    alongside us, uninhibited, and
we smiled and gave them fistbumps.Today is gloomy.
gray, with threat of rain. Not
    sure Mon rock band concert
will be held . Tomorrow looks
worse. so concert may have to
be postponed 'til next Tues. Lou

Lou I'm just so tired... tired of depression and grief and being alone. I just have no energy.. Yesterday had a nice conversation with fellow GW Kelso... Definitely reach out to him if you get the chance. I don't know what's wrong with me these days I just can't seem to pull it together. I am so tired... tired of trying but never seeming to get anywhere but back into this blank pit of nothingness. I feel so disconnected from everything. Another cloudy damp humid day here. I need to go out but can't get the energy up at all... Don't mean to be such a mess... sorry

I finally got the energy to get on GIC. I appreciate your kind and thoughtful message... I just can't seem to pull myself together lately. I just feel so emotionally depleted.

George, when I was in a small
    psychiatric unit during
    Thanksgiving, 2018, right
    after Linda died suddenly and
shockingly in front of me, I was
all alone. My "family" were the
    8 other temporary residents
there . We had counselor led
meetings. At the last one, the
counselor asked each one of us to state our goals upon discharge . All of us said, "to help other people" . You are
    doing that, Geo, when you
reached out to Kelso. At your
request, I'll gladly do the same. About to go to sleep,
and hope you can, too. Lou

Kelso, George, my "brother"from Illinois, suggested I contact you .
I see by your info that you're 68,
and live in Pennsylvania. I just
    turned 74, and live in
    Massachusetts. My wife, Linda,
died over 4 & a half years ago,
but I didn't join this site 'til 2
years ago. Is Kelso your real
first name? May I ask the name of your wife, to honor her
memory? I chose Van Gogh, a
tortured soul ( like I was when my wife died), but please call
me Lou. It's 11 pm , my time,
and I have to go to sleep. "Talk"
    tomorrow.,... Lou

Bruce, happened to wake up from a dream in the middle of
the night and checked GIC before I go back to sleep . Thank you for your post, regarding
    your name. and Terry's. I'm
    about to Start a Conversation
with you, so that we may call
each other outside of GIC. I do
that with 3 widows and 2 widowers here. Back to
    sleep,...,Lou

Yes, Bruce, did you see my
    personal message on your
    "So Alone" thread, which you
wrote early this am? I found
out that your first name is
Bruce, not Kelso. I told you I
    preferred to be called Lou,
rather than user name of Van
Gogh, which I used 2 years ago,
to join Grief in Common ( GIC).
I'm retired, so I can reply to
your posts when I can, but my
    responses will be quicker with
private emails or texts, like I do
with a few others here. Lou
