Mom's passing mixed emotions

My mom just passed 2 weeks ago. We had lots of problems in or relationship and she had her own issues with prescription drugs. I'm trying to keep my dad here with us a little longer. My problem isn't so much in mom's passing as much as dealing with the trauma of see her pass infront of us, and the aftermath of a family member passing in her
home. It was surreal waiting with the police for the coriner and then the funeral home while my mom
was dead in her chair next door. It's something noone is prepared for.

 

Sorry to hear about your mother. I lost my mother suddenly in May. Because she had no primary physician, she had to lie there on the floor until the coroner arrived...
