Thank you, Rose! Woke up crying, that
Linda & I had a stupid argument. She
said she was cute once, but not now, bc
she got older & heavier. I said, "No,you
are beautiful NOW,and moved closer to
kiss her on the lips. She was reluctant, at
first , bc of our fight, but then, we kissed
on the lips and looked into each other's eyes.I said, " Oh, sweetie, I miss you, I
love you". Ironically, Linda used the
    word "sweetie",when addressing my
name, and I used other endearment words
for her. Since Linda's death , I have
    written heartfelt letters, and signed
petitions against mask & vaccine mandates, especially for children. I always
invoke Linda's name, and say that she
would have been as angry as I am, about
the stupidity of public officials, and the
harm they have caused us, as supposedly
free American citizens. The letters wrote
themselves, bc Linda's spirit was guiding
me. We often composed letters, together,
on other matters. I know she would have
    been proud of me. Lou

Beautiful dream, Lou. I'm sure your Linda is very proud of you.
You know Lou, I think my husband would have got on well with you, judging by your opinions and the way you feel about nonsensical regulations.

    Best regards to everyone.

Rose, My dream was "bittersweet", as our
friend, Deb, always says. I know I would've
been friends with C, and also, the 2 Jacks,
married to Patti and Karen. Deb's husband, Bob, had similar views to
mine, as well as a great sense of humor.
    I would've loved hearing Bernadine's
husband, Kenn, play the blues. Lou

Hey, younger brother George! Glad you
thought my reply to Rose , was "cool".
I sometimes do my best posts in the
middle of the night. I'm so grateful that I
can reach out to TGW, & someone will
usually answer me. I had to take a nap
this afternoon, and just woke up, after
5:30 pm, my time. Still bright & sumny.
I'm going to walk to Whale's Jaw Cafe,
my new Friday night place, much better
than the Shack, bc it has live music every
day at lunchtime , & Friday nights. The
2 women owners. & husband of one of
them, know I have Celiac Disease, and
accommodate my needs at the dinner.
They usually have a chicken dinner.
Tonight, it may involve pasta, but they
can give me rice instead. If I don't have a
reserved table of friends, I sit alone at
the small bar, drinkimg Pellegrino sparkling water. Hope you can keep
cool, and are feeling better. Lou

Gary, just want to let you know that I told
a PT yesterday about GIC. and specifically
about you & our other brothers. She thought
it was a great idea for you to send a cane,
which you handcrafted, to me, via the PO.
I know that a mere letter from out of state,
can take 4 days to get here. I will get a ride
to the PO on Wed, the 15th, and hope it will
be there. I'll let you know. Lou

Itz very cool you can get out and have somewhere to go. That is what I'm working toward, getting out but is seems so hard and I only have so much energy! Don't know where I want to go... can barely drag self to Dialysis most of the time. I have been too anxious and depressedto concentrate enough to write. seems better last couple of daze. Hope it continues! Take care muh Bro!

Thanks for your reply, brother George.
    On the boardwalk, people watching.,I'm
so sorry you feel like crap. I have no idea
what I'd be like if I had to undergo
dialysis, on top of my grief over Linda's
death. With my manic depression, I guess
I'd alternate between anger and depression.Thought of you yesterday,
at the American Legion, where I drink
coffee with Vietnam veterans my age.
They are happy to see me every Sat am,
    even though I didn't serve, bc I had a
high lottery number in the draft. One
veteran, had a hat which had Purple
Heart on it. He made me nervous by
asking if he could have mu kidney. I
told him he was like the scary guy ,
in Silence of the Lambs. He laughed, but
said he had dialysis 4 times a week, at
home. His son makes sure he's OK. My
friend is on a list for a kidney transplant.
    He's been waiting 3 years.When I told
him he should be on top of the list,bc
he was a veteran with a purple heart,
he said no. He's 72, & feels that someone
younger should get a new kidney. Lou
