The rational mind is overrated. Learning there is such a thing as widow fog helped me SOOOO much the first couple of years. Especially due to the pressures I put on myself coupled with the questioning of my sanity and just literally feeling like I was in a fog. I'm not the only one and NEITHER ARE YOU!
