I lost the man that I had strong feelings for on November 23, 2016. It was a sudden loss that I am struggling with still today. He was punched and knocked out, he hit his head on the asphalt and it cause a TBI. He was in a coma for 17 days before his family honored his wishes and turned off life support. 3 1/2 months later on March 13, 2017 I lost my Daddy. The loss of these 2 men in my life has really turned my life upside down and I know it's affecting my relationship with my boyfriend who came into my life just 3 weeks after my Dad passed away. I just want to feel better and not be sad or keep pushing down my feelings.

Hi Peanut, I'm so sorry for all you're going through. Any loss is difficult but when we've had two significant losses so close together, there is really no time to fully grieve either one. I find for most people it means the acute grief is present for even longer and it can be very hard to know how to move forward and return to at least some normalcy.
I have included two articles from our blog that I hope can be a help to you.

Certainly reaching out to others who have gone through it is a good first step and I do hope you'll find some support here.
I wish you all the best~
