I lost my mother/best friend Diana

I took care of my mom for almost nine years after she had a stroke when I was 16, which left her very disabled. She had another stroke in April and died suddenly, and it's the hardest thing I've ever had to go through. She was my whole world. I'm looking for new friends that can empathize. Maybe we can make the world a slightly less dark and scary place for each other.
