I lost my brother two months ago. I don't know how to do this.

My oldernbrother passed away suddenly after using what he thought was cocaine and turns out it was fentanyl. It was so sudden. He wasn't even a regular hard drug user. It was supposed to be a celebration with my other brother. My other brother is okay thankfully, but I just want to take his pain and guilt away, too. It's not his fault. I'm so sad and empty.

Sarah....You can not take away anyone's pain or guilt, not even your own. You can readjust your way of thinking to help yourself but as far as helping your brother, just be supportive and make sure he understands that it was not his fault. He is most likely carry the guilt around but it will not help him. It sounds harsh to say but you are both alive and you must look at the future. Grieving takes as little or as long as we need it to. The grief is in control for a while,. Ride the wave and look forward. I wish you peace in the future.
