I wrote this for my brother My litte brother gave me a good luck charm He said wear around your neck it will keep you from harm Then he looked at me and said try not cry I'm up in heaven where the angles fly He laughed and he joked with a wink in his eye I thought to myself why this had to be His soul was to big it had to be free Thats my thoughts this morning
Very nice - keep this with you - sounds like memories of your brother. I do believe that our loved ones are still connected to us and do not want us to suffer because they are gone. Easier said than done. I wear Michael's medal and wedding ring on a chain around my neck. Anything to stay close to him. Will be praying for you to get through your brother's service peacefully. Surround yourself with those that strengthen you.
This is so lovely and heartfelt. It sounds like you and your brother had a close relationship, as my husband and his brother did. I hope that you feel that he is near you, as I do feel that our loved ones are always nearby.
