We're all missing our loved one, and the pain seems insurmountable. Being stuck inside is difficult, and disconnected. I like many of you don't want to face the day, getting up is a challenge. However, we somehow do it. I've noticed a running theme in our posts, we acknowledge that our loved one wouldn't want us to feel bad.

My husband was in/out of the hospital on/off since the summer of 2015 a stroke changed many things for him, his eyesight and balance. Yet, he found a way to drive to work and to walk again, some days were a struggle yet he went on, he laughed with friends, encouraged me in my business and tried to live his best life. He's my hero.

I want to honor him with remembering the joy, do you have a story to share? Something you'll never forget, for me it was his first hospitalization, he was still recovering on our 25th anniversary, he loved sending me roses and he knew I was never home I was running between his business, my business and then of course the hospital. Not knowing where I'd be, also not having his wallet at the hospital he called his brother up and made him send a dozen roses to his room so that when I arrived he could give them to me.

Nice idea. For me right now all I think of lately is how on that horrible night, Ron had been rolled out on a stretcher and in the driveway waiting to be rolled into the ambulance. He started yelling, I love you Robin, I love Robin! Many times! That was the last thing I heard him say. I do feel lucky I have that memory. ❤️

I meant to say how much I love your story. So sweet and loving. That took special effort and he came through with flying colors. ❤️
