Lost my cousin the day before Thanksgiving

My cousin Michael was troubled but the most wonderful guy. He was homeless or couch surfing during this time frame and a day or 2 before Thanksgiving he tried to keep warm for the night by sleeping in a clothing donation box that trapped him inside and asphyxiated him. It hurts my heart that he died just trying to make it through the night and I have a very hard time thinking about it every night
