i lost my wife of 44 yrs what do i do each day ?

We were together for 26 years. My Heart is Broken. I have no idea what is next. Kelso I’m so sorry you haven’t gotten any replies until now. That happened to me also when I joined. I know that’s not a good feeling. People will start finding you. I see you lost your wife suddenly. I’m so sorry and know it’s devastating. Nothing prepares us for this. I also lost my husband Ron very suddenly to a massive heart attack. He didn’t have any health issues, we thought. We were together 44 yrs and married 41 years. We were together 24/7 for most of those years because we owned a business together which I had to empty and close. Ron passed in Nov 2018. We had a perfectly normal day, doing chores and buying everything for our Thanksgiving dinner. That evening his stomach started hurting and then his chest, that started at 9:24 pm. I called 911 they tried hard but couldn’t save him. He passed at 11:34pm. My life has been upside down ever since. I’m sorry your friends aren’t being available for you. Do you have family close by? Sadly our support does leave us fairly quickly. I was lucky to have my daughter move back in with me after Ron passed she stayed a long time. I was a total mess and didn’t find this site until almost a year after losing Ron. What has helped me the most and still does is getting fresh air. Sometimes all I was capable of was stepping out on my deck. Moving and doing helps more but fresh air is very helpful. If you feel like crying or screaming, let it happen it’s cathartic and needs to come out. I also found that making a to do list helps so you’re not constantly thinking of those things. It’s written down. I added brush my teeth and feed the dog, simple things so I could check something off each day. People will find you on here. And you’ll have compassionate understanding people and never any judgement. Kim Elizabeth just recently lost her husband, I’m glad she found your post. She’s very caring and she’s right in asking if you’re up to posting what happened to your wife. It helps the healing by talking about your wife and what happened. But only when you feel ready. No pressure. I am on here sporadically but I’ll check back here later. Deep breathes and get some fresh air. Your wonderful wife of 44 years is a part of you. You made each other who you are today. She’s with you always.

Sure. I want you to know that "We" are here to Support You. I don't know how your Post got Missed. But You are with us now. It's ok to be a Mess. I am too! I am just going through the motions as well. It has been 5 weeks since My George left Me. I cry every day. And I visit the Cemetary often. I love watering all the flowers there. I have no idea what to do next with my shattered world. Just hoping. I am working a double shift today. I will be home after 8:30.
