Deb, thank you so much for your care &
research. My blood levels are monitored
for both liver AND kidney function. I recall
being extra cautious with either CVS
extra strength Tylenol, or Musinex( which
I stopped taking). Kim was right. I cannot
sit in the waiting. room of my kind NP.
Linda & I used to see her together. A
doctor will call me at home, at 3:30pm
today. I told the receptionist that I've had a
    lingering cough, four FOUR WEEKS!!!!,
since Christmas Night. No appetite, joy
of living, desire to walk outside, on these
cold, dark winter days. I'll keep you and the other GW posted. Lou

Thank you, Bernadine. It's good to know
that my friends in the Northwest, you &
Karen, are praying for me. My friends in
the East, Deb and Patti are always there for me. My brothers, Gary, from Indiana, and
George, from Illinois, always have my
    back. Our newest, youngest brother,
Chad. from Texas, is always interesting.
    Finally, Mark (markbeth), whose wife,
Debbie, died last year, often "listens in"&
will add a "LIKE" to our posts. He said he
lives in the best climate of the USA right
    now, and I agree----Florida. Lou

    Deb,
Thank you for looking into it some more and for messaging your dermatologist. I’m curious what she might say too. I didn’t see what you saw about it could cause liver or kidney damage in high doses. I will research more too. 60° sounds pretty wonderful right about now. It’s 40 here which doesn’t seem horrible but I went outside and the wind is crazy making it feel horribly cold. More bad weather this weekend. Getting a nor’easter Saturday or Sunday I forget which. Made me want beef stew so I’m going out to get what I need. First time in 3 years I had to desire to make something not just make it cause I need to eat. Even my son in Florida told me it’s cooler then normal there.
Thanks again Deb, I hope you hear from your dermatologist soon. Hopefully possible feedback.
Take care Deb and enjoy the sunshine for the rest of us. Take care, Robin

    To TGW,

UPDATE: Lou is in a cab, on the way to the ER. They are going to hook him up to an IV for hydration and nourishment. This is all the information I have, but will update as soon as I hear anything else.

So sorry to have to share this with you, but looking on the positive side, I'm so glad he decided to talk to a doctor today!!!, TU!!! I'm guessing that he'll begin to feel better once the fluids kick in.

As always, sending you hugs, wishing you peace, all of us peace. DEB

    Robin,

It just SUCKS!!!, TU!!! that a nor'easter is headed your way... By now you're back from picking up everything you need before that storm hits. I'm glad you're back home, staying safe and warm. Reading that it's the first time in 3 years that you feel like making something, has me smiling big time!!!, TU!!! Beef stew is the perfect meal for cold, miserable weather... Enjoy...

I'll update as soon as I hear from my dermatologist. If she doesn't know the answer, I know she'll do some research, and/or ask other providers in the practice. (She works for the hospital where I used to bring Bob. The hospital opened up a satellite office near me because the demand for specialists is so high, and there are so few of them in this area. To date, dermatology and pediatrics are the only providers affiliated with this hospital that work in this medical center. All of the other providers work for the local hospital.)

As always, sending you and Teddy lots of hugs, wishing you peace, all of us peace. DEB

Gary, I'm in a bed in ER , with an IV for
hydration & nourishment. I've lost my
appetite, & only eat soup, or drink OJ.
I just couldn't handle the fainting spells,
& dry heaves, home alone, any more. I've
been to this ER before, & I think they can
help me. I will try to keep everyone
posted tomorrow. Deb has been a great
messenger. Hope your therapy is going
    well. Lou

    Deb,
Yes it feels nice to actually want to make something. I can actually hear Ron asking if I felt like making stew or chili, for the cold stormy weekend. Once I had the thought of beef stew in my head I just had to buy what I need. But the wind was really blowing my daughters car around. Lights have blinked a few times. Hopefully it stays on.
I wonder if Lou can get more info on quenticin. I just hope he feels better.
    Take care, Robin

Robin, I didn't like the taste, after 2 tries.
I'm very dry & thirsty all the time. I've Lost my appetite & weight, & have felt dizzy at
night. The NP'S waiting room would not allow patients with Omixron6. A dictiOn call urged me to get an IV for hydration &
nourishment. I feel stronger & tAken care of here, than "at home".

Thanks, Robin, you've been with me all
the way. Looks like I'll be here TWO nights,
not just for the cough, but for an UTI, which
will require Antibiotics. Also, must wait
for nostril result for original COVID, before
my less serious Omicron. I feel safe here, &
feel I will get stronger. Lou

Of course Lou, We’re a family of sorts. Glad you’re getting antibiotics and they caught the UTI. So glad you’re there getting the care you need. Lou, there’s a bad storm coming through and I believe your area is getting hit with it. You’ll be safe where you are. Right now I have terrible wind and the weather app says feels like -6. I know it felt brutal last night. It’s good you’re there for a couple days. And will have GIC visitors. Robin
