I am struggling to write my Mom's obituary as it is again another thing that makes this real and not a bad dream. I started it but stopped because I was beside myself. When I wrote my brother's obituary, I had a similar reaction and my boyfriend said to hold off until I could do it. I held off and then a couple of days later I wrote it. I felt like at that time I was operating on doing things for my Mother who was in more grief than I over my brother since he had practically lived with her his whole life. He was an alcoholic and was not able to get sober for more than a few month intervals. She also witnessed his decline in health before her very eyes. I do have anger surrounding that, but I put it aside to go to the hospital and made amends with my brother. He was a very difficult person from the disease of alcoholism. I saw him on his last day on earth which was a tough extremely tough day when we thought he was going to do the radiation, but he ended up passing that night instead. Now as I try to write for my Mom I am stuck. I am hoping I will be able to after I type this because me typing in here has freed me up after when I get all of the thoughts and feelings out of my head. The funeral home is supposed to take payment today and my Mom's ashes are there also. I know she is in her spiritual body now and the ashes are just ashes. Now I will have the ashes for Dad, Mom and bro. The funeral home told me they have a boat I can rent for $400 to scatter the ashes of all 3 so I hope to do that. Going to try and type Mom's obituary now. Hope for healing to all. xoxo ~Heather
