My name is Alicia. I am a licensed associate counselor and I am currently working on a project about grief. I have created a website explaining more about the project, my reason for doing it, and how others can get involved. Essentially the project is a book that will contain both stories of my own and those I have received from others, regarding significant losses in their life. There is more to it though than just the loss and the normal parts of grieving that we might think about. This is a collaboration of last conversations that myself and others have had with a significant person in their life, and how that impacted them, and how that itself influences or affects the overall grieving process. I then will end the book, or each chapter with various reflections on this and ways to process through and manage that grief. Through this project I am hoping to help others find a way to heal and realize they are not alone in these unique and xxx moments/experiences.

If you want to know more information about the project or have a story (last conversation) that you would like to share, please reach out to me at acolema5@asu.edu.
