40 years of marriage

I lost my hubby of 40 years two weeks ago. I have so many emotions rolling throughout my body every hour every day. I'm 61 and miss being a couple. We were opposites in life but we shared conversations about our day each evening. Evenings are tough.
I would l like to hear from folks in similar circumstances. We loved each other deeply and had a solid marriage while we did have difficulties at times like most lint term relationships.
He was diagnosed in July, died in September. While this seems quick he smoked for 50 years and didn't really eat much. Diagnosis want a surprise really. Smoking kills and that's a fact. I'm angry when I see smokers now. In time....
